Hal Sandifer

Owner, Writer, Producer, Director 

With over twenty years experience in the industry, Hal has worked in all aspects of the film making process including as an editor, director of photography, producer, writer, and director.  His clients have included Schwan's, Turner South, Focus on the Family, LifeWay Christian Resources, Caterpillar Financial Corporation, Zondervan, Showtime, and The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Hal has worked with high-profile Christian authors and performers including Anne Graham Lotz, Beth Moore, Dr. John Trent, Nicole C. Mullen, J.D. Greear, and Brad Stein.  He was a contributing writer, producer and director for LifeWay's twenty-four volume, five year youth curriculum, Fuel.  He is a contributing writer, producer, and director for LifeWay's continuing children's curriculum Worship KidStyle and Explore the Bible.  Hal has produced and directed projects across the media spectrum including documentaries, music videos, commercials, education films, and independent short subjects. He is passionate about story telling - no matter the medium.

Tyler Seilhamer

Production Manager, Editor, Color Specialist

Tyler has become an essential part to the Red Giant Entertainment team over the past several years and has earned the reputation of "jack-of-all-trades".  From asset management, editing, camera operator, color grader, and production management, he continually adds new skills to his arsenal.  Tyler also manages all of the team's production equipment and is constantly looking for upgrades and the latest technology to help Red Giant Entertainment stay on the cutting edge of the industry.  Tyler has a bright future in this industry and we are very lucky to have him on the team.

Jimmy Patterson

Director of Photography

Jimmy has been working for thirty years in the video production world and eighteen years as a Director of Photography with an education background as Cinematography fellow at the American Film Institute (AFI) Los Angles, CA.  The bulk of his work consists of shooting features, TV shows, music videos, dramatic shorts, documentaries, corporate training videos, and everything in between.

His clients have included HBO, ESPN, CMT, TLC, food Channel, LifeWay Christian Resources, Zondervan and Gideons International where he has traveled around the world shooting documentary-style video projects capturing the distribution of bibles for Gideons International.  He understands how to tell a story through images.  Jimmy works on the cutting edge where art meets the passion for his craft.

Steve Bates

Writer, Producer, Director

With over thirty years in media production, Steve has become an accomplished screenwriter, director and producer, developing an impressive list of clients that includes LifeWay Christian Resources, The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Caterpillar Financial Corporation, FamilyNet, The Odyssey Channel, and the Christian Television Network.

He has worked with high-profile Christian authors and performers such as Chuck Colson, Henry Blackaby, Lisa Whelchel, Jennifer Rothschild, Beth Moore and Bob Carlisle, just to name a few.  Steve's experience also includes a nationally syndicated comedy and music show for FamilyNet and human interest stories for both "News Odyssey" and "The Billy Graham TV Special".

Steve Goostree

Producer, Audio Engineer

With over thirty years experience in music/audio/TV/Film production, Steve has worked with Billboard Top 10 country music stars, gospel artists, network celebrities, Christian authors/speakers, and Hollywood stars.  Record production, location audio, audio post, contributing editor for audio curriculum are a partial list of job experiences.  Years spent in Nashville's major recording studios, audio post production sound for CMT and NBC are a short list of venues.  Steve's clients have included RCA Records, Epic, MCA, CBS Records, CMT, NBC, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, Angel Ministries, United Methodist Communications to name a few.

Melissa Sandifer

Accounting, Office Manager

Melissa has been with Red Giant Entertainment since the beginning and has been vital to the success of our business throughout the years.  Along with handling the accounting, office management, and keeping the team organized, Melissa is a full time mom of three boys.  She and Hal have been married for almost twenty years.
